O mne / About me

V Maďarskej štátnej opere v Budapešti som účinkoval v opere Madama Butterfly a v Segedíne v inscenácii Mária Terézia. V Štátnej opere v Banskej Bystrici som stvárnil postavy v operách La Gioconda, Predaná nevesta a Andrea Chénier.

Účinkoval som tiež na opernom festivale v Rheinsbergu, spolupracoval so Severočeským divadlom v Ústí nad Labem a s Divadlom Nová scéna v Bratislave.

Veľmi si vážim aj pozitívne ohlasy operných kritikov, ktorí vo svojich hodnoteniach vyzdvihovali najmä sýtosť, nosnosť a podmanivú farbu môjho hlasu.

I was born in Štúrovo, Slovakia, where I received my first formal musical training in violin. I later began studying voice in Nové Zámky. After being accepted to the Conservatory in Bratislava, I had the opportunity to perform in educational concert programmes throughout Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and the Czech Republic. In 2016, I completed my studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava with a graduation recital.

While still studying at the conservatory, I was accepted into the ensemble of the Slovak National Theatre, where I gradually gained stage experience in a number of smaller roles, including productions of Boris Godunov and Manon Lescaut. I later went on to perform more substantial operatic roles at the Slovak National Theatre in productions such as The Barber of Seville, Carmen, Il trittico and Il signor Bruschino.

At the Hungarian State Opera in Budapest, I performed in Madama Butterfly, and in Szeged I appeared in the production Maria Theresa. At the State Opera in Banská Bystrica, I performed roles in La Gioconda, The Bartered Bride and Andrea Chénier.

I have also appeared at the opera festival in Rheinsberg and collaborated with the North Bohemian Theatre in Ústí nad Labem and the Nová scéna Theatre in Bratislava. As part of the Opera Studio of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, I performed in Bohuslav Martinů’s opera The Tears of the Knife.

I am a co-founder of the vocal ensemble Ovsepianovci, named in honour of our teacher, tenor Gurgen Ovsepian. Throughout my artistic career, I have had the privilege of performing alongside many distinguished opera singers at festivals in Hong Kong, Cyprus, Albania, Switzerland and Germany.

One of the highlights of my career has been the opportunity to perform as a soloist with both the former and the new Alexandrov Ensemble.

I have also devoted part of my career to teaching and passing on my experience to the next generation of singers. I worked as a vocal coach with the chorus of the Slovak National Theatre and taught at the State Conservatory in Bratislava, where I worked with young aspiring opera singers.

I greatly appreciate the positive response my performances have received from opera critics, who have particularly highlighted the richness, projection and captivating colour of my voice.
